As it says really. wondered how many of you lucky people have driven the Amalfi Coast in Italy ?

No... but i`ve done the Derby to Skegness road, i`m sure it`s equally beautiful......lol

mixit im a coach driver and last season drove a coach to sorrento when we got there we didnt turn the wheel for 8 days <reason being the trips we done could only be done with 9mtr coach not the 12m we drove down in> an we done the amalfi with a mad italian coach driver <worse than the uk ones> and it was amazing and would recomend it to anyone,,,,

Does it get very busy during high season. I doubt there's much opportunity to enjoy a good thrash round any of the corners?

i wouldnt thrash it unless you got a parachute on your back an a sunroof lol <not joking though>
very high very sharp bends very busy <all times> and very stupid italian drivers driving on both sides of the road <sumtime the same way???>

also go over to the island "capri" well worth the trip,,

We got a Blue local bus down the coast :( take some sick bags and travel pills :rolleyes: Then caught a ferry back to Sorrento :D

Got to Amalfi church well worth a visit and agree Capri is a great day out :D Positano :D

I have done it three times, but it is narrow with sheer drop to the sea !!! Did it in a hire car but would love to do it in me Sti :)

Some Great little coves and villages (positano) Ravello and Amalfi itself. Sorrento is nice, but be warned if you take your car there as the parking is so rare they have these dodgy looking geezers that you leave your keys with in case they have to move your motor. Yeah right !! I dont think so.

Also seen the italians drive and park, lots of scratches on thepaintwork of passing scooters !
