At the moment I have a CD ROM, CD Writer and a dvd writer with one hard drive. But I want to install a slave hard drive. My motherboard only has 2 IDE connectors, is it possible to have an IDE cable that links three devices into one connector? Is there a method to do this?

Nope, best bet is to buy a PCI IDE card, like this one. Oh and another cable :)
