Should the coolant level in the reservoir be filled up to the brim? Each time I do this, some coolant ends up in the overflow cylinder next to the battery, but if I fill it to about half of the reservoir, it's fine.

Look closer and there are two lines on it, one is the 'low' mark, the other the 'full' mark, not hard is it!!!
