I had my windscreen replaced by Autoglass in December 1998 on my MY98. I paid the insurance excess of £50, and thought no more of it.
I have today (ie. 15 months later !!!) received an invoice from Autoglass
for £120!!!!!! Apparently this is the additional cost I am liable for, as my
insurance company (can't remember who now) only cover windscreens up to £200.
Obviously I am less than pleased.

Anyone had this happen to them ?

Anyone paid for a replacement windscreen themselves ? How much ?

Anyone know the legal standpoint on me refusing to pay an invoice thats
15 months old ?

I have tried contacting Autoglass, but got fed up being stuck in a queue.

I feel that either Autoglass or my insurers should have brought this to my
attention sooner.
