Bought car in November

Engine blows up in February.

On replacing engine it is clear that the clutch is buggered along with the brakes. These then all get sorted. At this point i'm 3K down.

Frustrated that i havent yet spent any money on mods, i go and fit an induction kit, up-pipe, down-pipe, uprated fuel pump, regulator and Knocklink.

Car comes back from garage. That same night, i start the car and it almost goes up in flames when a relay burns itself out.

Now just over 4K down.

This story doesnt include niggly things like the fact that ive had oil leak problems and a dented alloy giving me a slow puncture, worn bushes, sticking clutch pedal etc etc

I pick up the car this afternoon - Whats going to happen next??

Sipie will no doubt tell you his tale on Saturday - he's had an engine let go, a gearbox let go, 16mpg, lots of tyres, lots of brakes and generaly spent LOTS!

No chance...

One weekend back in September last year...Saturday morning...get up, NIP landed on my doormat for 102 in 60, bugger (ie potential to loose license and job)...set of for the parents, get half way there blow up the gearbox :( get the car trailered down to they're place to worry about it...End up staying down, afterall it was my 29th on Tuesday...Monday night my Grandfather died...ok I know these things happen in threes but common give me a break!

Still, only good thin is the car now runs again (7 months later) sort of and I didn't get banned and kept my job...still I couldn't have been much lower back then :(
