I hope this is in the right place.

I am just trying to work something out at the mo. If it cost you 40 pounds to fill up with a tank of otimax how much octane booster do you need. E.g. fill up jap import scooby, cost £40 plus x amount of octane booster, how much is the octane booster to buy and how much goes in + how long does it last?

I know there are a heap of questions there and it must make sense to someone on here

Thank you

1 ml per litre of NF works out about £3 per tank and with Optimax is about right for imports IMHO.

Mycroft would say get toluene, but he won't tell you where to get it

I have been using STP octane booster but am not convinced anymore. I am pretty sure that it does not raise the RON value high enough for my import. As soon as ive finished off my STP supplies, i will move on to NF Octane booster.

To cut a long story short, my knocklink lights up on optimax + STP OB when the ECU is reset until it manages to retard the ignition enough. I'm loosing out!

Gonna try NF, reset the ECU and watch the knocklink closely.

sorry, ive not really answered your question. Basically what i'm trying to say is if your buying OB make sure it does the job you want it to do;)
