Hi folks, another sale, this time memory. I have 4 sticks of brand spanking new:

Infineon 256MB, DDR 266, PC2100, CL2, ECC, Registered RAM (32Mx72 chip configuration)

These 4 sticks have come straight out of Brand new Acer Altos G500 servers, where I get to keep the RAM I extract, as I save the clients a fortune on the much larger modules that I fit :)
This also halps to make up for the fact that my company pay me peanuts and I am too scared to leave :(

Anyway.....

Remember guys the bit about ECC and REGISTERED before thinking of getting them for the home machine. Only certain rigs have to/ benefit from this type of memory.

For a Price comparison for what Crucial versions of these chips cost, please look here:

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/list...ries&submit=Go

As you can see, the Crucial 256MB version is only CL2.5 and is £41.11 Inc VAT

I would like £100 for all 4 Infineon sticks together including Special Delivery.

Cheers,

Nick :)

cheers

big sinky

Mr Footlong 11 May 2003 10:56 AM

No and this isn't generic M8. Special Mobo's and setups need this stuff, not normal Motherboards.

Dual Athlon setups and server class boardsetc tend to prefer this type of RAM.

bigsinky 11 May 2003 04:28 PM

np thanx anyway

P1 Enthusiast 11 May 2003 06:16 PM

Footlong any chance you can get me some of the same stuff in 500 meg sticks?

I have that 4x256megs of ya from last time but its looking like i might need 1.5 or even 2 gigs of memory for this project rig - anything you can do?

Mr Footlong 11 May 2003 07:00 PM

No, these rigs come as standard with 256mb sticks. If they were 512 sticks I would keep them in the servers.

Cheers,

Nick.

Mr Footlong 13 May 2003 01:31 PM

Right, these are no longer for sale, as I had a greater need for them at work.

However, I now have some larger modules in return :)

P1 Enthusiast 14 May 2003 03:11 PM

I told you definitely yes, i keep having this problem with your stock Nick, i put a post on Scoobynet last time saying 4 sticks pls, then i got sorry 2 left. This time i say i will take the other stick and you ask for definite yes?

My word on here is golden and i have bought from you in the past, if i say i want something i will pay for it next day mate, not um and ah about it.

Next time you get 512 meg sticks i will take FOUR please and no questions asked cheque in the post okay?

Mr Footlong 14 May 2003 03:14 PM

Erm, not quite, you didn't seem at all sure about what you actually wanted. Anyway, you got 4 sticks from me.

I post these up in different forums from time to time, I have been waiting a little while to sell these and I am still paying back money from the uber machine that I recently built. I am going to sell them to whoever can give me the cash the quickest.

Nick.

P1 Enthusiast 15 May 2003 10:12 AM

Fine Nick but if you get any 512 meg sticks just shoot me an email direct via scoobynet and as soon as i read it i will reply and shove a cheque in the post :)

Mr Footlong 15 May 2003 10:15 AM
