Any ideas ? I have an MY93 WRX With de-cat pipe and one off centre and back box, and an uprated fuel pump courtesy of TSL (top job)! It also has a pipercross viper filter. All good so far and has made a huge difference to the response of the car (14 dead at the pod).

Weeks later it then started to hesitate and run very lumpy and would not pull at all. Took it to TSL and whatever they did it cured the problem ( boost ok etc. etc ).

About a month ago had a collins performance powerchips added ( not the same as a superchips i.e. new chip on ecu board ), awesome difference in performance. Very happy!

Now in the last couple of days it has developed major misfiring, mainly under load, and when just holding the throttle it is hesitant. It's all very annoying because it was going like a missile and now public transport buses are quicker!

The car has done about 72K, serviced regularly, and had new plugs about 8 months ago.

Any ideas anyone ??

Yep sounds like the coilpacks to me to. If it's still about try & get on the bulk buy of Bosch MEC723 coils from Oz as i've got them on My MY95UK & they're the best thing you can ever do to an early scooby :)

Do a search for Bosch MEC723 & look for my thread on them.
