Why is it that the streets/shop windows/ lamp posts get littered with these placards etc. but no one ever comes back round to take them all down again?

Every lamp post and direction sign has about 3 of them each - its hellish looking. I was actually beginning to think that the SNP was a place near Glasgow!!LOL!!

Not where I live, I've yet to see any election posters or flyers on the estate I live on.
Mind you, We've only have 1 local politician (out of the 3 candidates) that bothered to do door-2-door enquries, so I voted for him ;)

Not a single poster around here, or any flyers through the door,or any canvasing. Even the people running the polling station could not tell me anything about the election. No one around knew who we were trying to vote for!
