Whilst spraying new intercooler intake in garden got some airborne overspray on silver my01.
Anyone got any ideas about removal(dont really want to resort to Tcut)

Mine was covered in overspray from a local bodyshop, T-cut took forever to do one patch, and so I told the bloke in the spray shop. He came out with a plug-in polisher (looks like a big angle grinder) and did the whole car with 3m fast-cut. It got it off, but could be really nasty stuff in the wrong hands! I dont think you will find any other way, other than T-cut, and you might have to resort to something stronger!

Try Metal polish. It's brilliant.
Just make sure you put a coat of resin on afterwards.

Sorry fellas to jump in and state the blooming obvious!!!!

If your paint work is metallic or has a laquer top coat DON'T use normal T-cut or any other abrasive. Use 'Metallic T-cut'if you have to. Try just using a good polish, i found this did the trick and the paint wasn't damaged and I got a layer of polish on too, rather that removing the ploish with and abrasive and then needing to polish it again.

I know to most this goes without saying, but if it saves one person screwing up the body work it is worth the post!
