Got mine from SVP :)

Would highly recommend the Ritek media with the purple dye.

Ritek G03 is mean't to be the best, ie Traxdata etc but they were only available on 1 speed,

there are a lot of other manufacturers around these days but have not used the higher speed media.

Generally the bottom of the disk should be a very dark and rich purple for the G03 dye

(hope it helps)

Or is it still a case of 2/3 programs.
Am thinking of getting a DVD writer, probably DVD-r, this weekend.

DVD X Copy does the trick nicely.

You just put in the original disc and it tells you if it can fit it onto one dvd-r with or without the extra features or whether it will need two. Then off it goes :D Fantastic :D

Get it from the usual outlets ;)

If it wont fit on,is there any way of say, cutting out the menu's etc?

DJ Dunk 01 May 2003 09:41 AM

Yep, you can strip out extra languages, menus, special features etc to make it fit :)
