I dare you :D
Damn things are quick in a straight line. Anyone had a run in at the lights with one?? |
I don`t think many people will have had the chance to out-drag a 240000 grand Bentley.
They just `aint that common round Wolverhampton! |
Well, there is the odd one in dudley m8 ;)
Happen to know someone who used to worked for Broughtons (willenhall). - He let me take it for a spin :D Warp factor 8 when you plant the throttle  BTW Who the hell moved to other marques...I WAS COMPARING WITH THE SCOOB!! no-one'll read this now :( |
I read it :D
|
One of my neighbours has a Bently Turbo R. Not quite the same thing, but still disturbingly quick! He's an OAP now, but still likes the driving fast thing...
On paper, the power to weight of my Scoob has it, but the Bently has so much torque from so low down the rev range I wouldn't expect to get past him on the road. (And it does 9 to the gallon, so it's really efficient too!! ;)) |
about 600lb/ft of torque  If I recall correctly. THAT IS LB/FT not Nm!!!!!
|
Nice motors, and yes I would have a pop at one :D
Ever wondered why it needs that much torque? Probably because it weighs as much as a bungalow! |
aerodynamics are about the same as a small house too :D
Dont corner or brake well though!...or is that a bit obvious ;) |
