builing a shuttle, SN41G2.
Hows the onboard sound?? Would like to pay £60-£100 area tbh. Any ideas?? Cheers Si ps Jye this is the gf's machine :p |
Si
Whilst testing mine i used creative 5100 (5 speakers and a sub) cost me 49 quid and sound was not bad at all although it's now connected to my yammy amp via the onboard optical out. Si |
Ive just hit my budget, and still got speakers to source :( d'oh
Si |
sorry and i lied they where 5300's and it was a 51 not a 41 although i'd assume same sound, are you using onboard video to cut costs
|
Looks like it's a pair of Creatives for a tenner then Si.
Bit more practise before you make a project manager too ;) |
I know chris :( ive gone from Xp2700 down to Xp2500.
the shuttle and Corsair ram seem to be the most expensive. Might stoop to Twincmos Si |
Check out the JBL Creatures speakers.....
About £150 :) These are GOOD..... ;) Dan |
Dan,
Was just about to post the same. JBL Creatures are the biz. The two speakers are tiny and the sub isn't too big, but man does it kick like a good 'un. Hey, and they look rather cool, which doesn't hurt. Around £100. I'm sure I saw them in PC World of all places for £99.99. Cheers Ian [Edited by IWatkins - 4/28/2003 9:54:15 PM] |
Got £90 now for speakers:D
|
I have Videologic ZXR 5.1 - about £50, superb speakers :)
