Hi, i need some help here, i am looking to buy some 17s for my MY00 classic subaru turbo. I have read through the posts and am getting confused with what the correct offset is for the car, most resellers are saying 45mm will be fine, and some people on here are saying you need 48-52mm.... so all you people with 17s, what offsets are you running....and you had any probs with them.

which wheel r u looking at as in addition to the offset being important u may find problems with sum 17"ers fitting over 4 pots.... ;)

Im running a 52mm offset on my PD7 alloys (Prodrive 7 spoke ones) so that should give you a good indication of whats right and whats not ;)

well i called up a few guys, and not many of them do a decent 48mm alloy, one place also said that the superleggras are only 37mm.

But i was looking at either the superleggras, which i know look good from the pics here, or maybe 100+ monza's,

I read that as a guide 52-55 is about right.
I have 17 superleggs and if i remember correctly they are 48 offset.
If you want futher information, check out www.sidc.co.uk/faq
I have had no problems with my wheels and they look:cool:

kool, really worried about getting the wrong alloys, i have called up like 5 or 6 places from the ads in max power, and they all keep saying i need 45mm offset.... where do u pick up ur alloys from

SilverScoob555 there are various places m8. There's Scoobyworld, Wheelbase etc.. ;) Most will do a wheel and tyre package as well plus there's some of us looking into a group buy for Speeline Turinis which are similar to Super's - check that thread out for more details

hey, im having the same probs, too many manufacturers saying 45mm will be fine, but then u ask them for a quote on some wheels with a 48mm offset and they say they cant do it.... but there must be loads of people on scoobynet running 17s with a 45mm offset, without any probs
