Old school headache..lol

Was just thinking I bet there's a rubiks cube online and here it is http://www.rubiks.com/cube_online.html

Go there press scramble to mix the cube up and annoy yourself!

Anyone remember what that other puzzle thing was called, I think it was made by rubiks and it was 8 or 9 flat plastic squares held together with nylon thread and you had to make the rings interlock that were drawn on it??? I used to be able to do that one.

I would'nt be able to do it online. You can't take the stickers off and put them all back on to match up:D

I used to take it apart then put it back together the right way around.........:D

oh you done that too huh?...lol

The Reset button simulates the sticker procedure quite well, my mate was a hero at school cos he could do it, didnt make love to a lady until he was 23 so you cant have everything.

I got my cube out tonight and had a go, I used to be able to do it in about 15 seconds, time and time again, can't even do it now, amazing what a few years does to the memory isn't it!!!!!!!!

the puzzle with the circles on it was Magic?
I remember they were black with multi-coloured circles and no, I couldn't do it either!

I used to be able to do it in about 15 seconds
the world records 22 seconds ;):D:p

kev :)

RON 28 April 2003 04:28 PM

Clearly I never did a 'record ' attempt, Might have been a tad longer than 15 secs, bit it was damn quick either way!!!

ADP 28 April 2003 05:29 PM

I must be the new king then, I just scrambled it and did it in 10 seconds, honestly!

DJ140 28 April 2003 05:42 PM

The world record was around 11 seconds, even I could do it every time in less than 20.

Can still do the first 2 layers, but have forgotten how to complete the final one, well it has been over 20 years since I've tried!!!

rik1471 28 April 2003 05:59 PM

What's the method for doing it then??
