The sigma M30 fitted to my MY00 had a setting to beep when locking the doors, via the alarm key fob.

Does the MY03 WRX have this feature, as the manual makes no mention of this.

If the answers yes, what do I do to turn it on?

According to my manual for MY00:

Turn the ignition on, press the keyfob button once, then press 7 on the keypad and quickly turn the ignition off.

To make the beeps quieter, repeat the above but rather than 7 press *

If you decide you wanna turn em off thn its option 6.

The manual states that "7 is for future use", WTF!

Dave how did you do it on the STi8, is it in the manual?

Look at the second post, all is explained there and since the alarm is the same, so is the above proceedure.
