I recently bought a P1. It's fitted with a SONY XR-C420RDS and a 10 disk changer. I've managed to figure that the h/u is about 5-6 years old. I think the speakers are standard.

What size are the standard front door speakers? Has anyone managed to get a 6.5" component set installed stealthily.

I think that the h/u has pre-outs so connecting an amp. should be possible.

The current plan is to get an amp installed and replace the factory speakers - the fronts anyway. If the h/u lets the side down after that I can replace it with something MP3 maybe.

Vindaloo, my 605cs infinities went straight into my 95wrx fully stealthily, no spacers etc. required. But I guess your door trim might be a bit different due to newer interior on P1's than the 95 cars.
