Anyone give me a quick rundown......its a basic 1.4.How easy is it?
Might have to do it tonite:(..

Wazz the timing belt off, 3 allen keys, jobs a guddun:cool: Fairly easy really:) IIRC the water pump acts as the timing belt tensioner too...I'd put a new timing belt on at the same time:)

Oh, you might need a pry bar to persuade the pump out;):D

Is that all i need to remove, the belt then the water pump?...no pulleys or wheels?

what BOB.T said

however the later 1.4's had a tensioner wheel instead of using the water pump to adjust the tension. The change over was around 1991
