CEL Came on last night on the way home.

Felt like i hit fuel cut and then the engine just died.
For one worrying moment i thought i saw smoke coming out of the back of the car.

I pulled over on the side of the road and thought i would try and reset the ecu to see if that would help, instead it throws me up the error code 23. Car is now stuck in limp home mode. :(

I hope this isn't the MAF sensor again. (4th time)

Have called my dealer but i cant get it down to them until tuesday for them to check it out.

Sorry to hear that Mel, what type of car and year and what mods have you done to it?

STI5 Type R mods include Full decat, HKS Plugs, Blitz Panel Filter, Tar-ox Discs, Mintex 1155 Pads and AP Racing clutch.


Wouldn't mind as much if i had an induction kit on but i still have the orginal airbox.


The sooner i get a link ECU the better as i can do away with the MAF altogether.

p.s had it confirmed from dealer that it is the MAF sensor and they wont have one in until tuesday.
Still at least i wont have to pay for it as the one theyt changed less then a year ago is still under warranty.:D

4 bloody maf sensors, you would think the dealer would buy you a Link, it would save them money in the long run:D
