Right the factory dumpvalve is located by the turbo. SImply follow the air box to the air pipe and you should see s little round plastic device coming out of it with a big pipe on the other side and a little pipe coming from the top of the inlet manifold to it. This is the factory recirulating dumpvalve, the new one fits in here. simply blank off the air box hole and connect the other two pipes for a vta one.

Boost guage is equally easy just cut the top little hose to the dumpvalve and insert a t piece, then run vacuum hose into the car to wherever you want to mount the guage. Then wire the side lights up to it so they light up when you turn your headlights on.

Oil guage could be pressure or temperature and depends what sender you have etc so could vary.

Turbo timer, easy thing is buy the wiring harness for it and it plugs straight in easy. Otherwise it involves a fair bit of hardwiring.

where does the turbo time plug into m8
this was so help ful thanxs alot m8
would you know any where in london to get a decent tracker?

Priten,

When you get your harness you will have to take the bottom of the steering column off, split the plugs and plug in the harness, then its sorted.

You'll be able to see where your TT harness plugs into as the plugs will be the same as your current ones under the column.

Whats the crack with fitting a turbo timer when you have an imm/alarm? Does your car alarm itself once the timer turns off or do have to wait and alarm it yourself?

priten 25 April 2003 10:38 AM

i think i mite have to wait.
so i guess ill just sit in my car, idle for about 2mins and then switch it off and let the turbo cool down. i guess i can do that for a beast.
