jjones - if i had hold of the camera then i may have put it down. As the can was empty, i had no need to worry, besides, a little drink never armed anyone.

Why would i get £250 from a fat bint on ITV?

I let my boy try "Daddys' Booze" cos he was pestering me for a taste - and he didnt like it, so there we go.

Im a firm believer that alcohol and kids should be introduced to each other by parents in a home environment and under strict supervision from an early age - otherwise you get what happened to my cousin - puking up and passing out on a school field at 14 when he got hold of some cider after alcohol had been treated as tabo by his parents. I on the other hand used to enjoy about 3 cm of Grandads Home Brew beer with a glass full of lemonade from about 8 years old. I never went out and binged and it didnt have any attraction for me as a "new experience" - it was nothing special as it had never been treated as such.

So I think that the PC brigade can all feck off before they start :D

Oh, and Im English as well, NOT BRITISH! ;)

Jen 23 April 2003 12:59 PM

Buzz - exactly what my parents did - and it worked very well :) Never had any bad experiences with alcohol except when my drinks were spiked :( Muppets.
