There is a pint or two waiting for anyone who can help me.

I have a WRX 98, it has a full SS exhaust and dump valve. Music I hear you cry.

True, the noise is amazing, however on long drives it gets a little repetative. Hence the problem, I cannot fit my UK size Alpine head unit into my car without cutting away some of the facia. Surely to god someone out there has had a similar problem. Please help I do not want to fork out for a crap expensive double din unit.

Have you tried taking it to a stereo installer? On my Alpine 7837R they removed the outside of the unit, I think. This then fitted fine into my MY97 STi. Just installing a head unit shouldn't be more then a few quid.

p.s. mines an Old Speckled Hen, and the Monkey is having a Sapporo
