Check this out, it's quite interesting and informative.

Interesting test

20 and 28. How does that compare with other people's scores?
|
22 / 21..... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
|
Think mine were 30/38. It recommended I need to calm down a bit - which can definitely be true on occasions.

8 and 17, chillout Dood ! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/cool.gif
the good side.. You are one calm, cool driver. You don't jeopardize your own mental and physical well-being and you certainly don't endanger the lives of others with whom you share the road. and the dark side.... N.B. You may or may not be aware of it, but there are clear indications of violent impulses in your driving (ex. engaging in a car chase, etc.). Granted, you may have felt justified in your anger. Sure, you may have been provoked. However, whatever the reason, your hostility grabbed all your control, and that's downright scary. The fact that this was not an isolated incident is even more reason for serious concerns. oh well.... [This message has been edited by david (edited 15-03-2000).] |
Bu88er, I loose, I got nowhere near those scores. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
|
12 and 26
|
10 and 18 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif pretty good considering the pillocks that travel along our roads with me.
Especially loved the question about the ickle squiggle crossing the road! How many of you answered dishonestly and said you'd ignore it, when you'd really want to drive over it, then reverse back for another go! |
37/17
It told me I needed to rewire my driving personality because, although I'm calm most of the time, I occasionally allow my violent 'alter ego' through.... Sounds about right.... |
Blimey Mr Saddo and boring git http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif 5 and 4
|
9 and 20 - I feel they missed the point a bit occasionally - I chased cars for fun, not out of rage. I suppose this is worse really........

26 and 19.
Lets be honest how many of us ever get tailgated !!! Also the question re the XR2 boys who on this board wouldn't actually put their foot down gently and leave them behind ? [This message has been edited by Mark Johnson (edited 15-03-2000).] |
21/22
|
Re the XR2 Question,
How would you put your foot down to leave them if they have just overtaken you and have slowed down right in front of you? The question doesn't mention overtaking them, but the answers seem to imply you are in front of them again! Some of the questions seem to be quite badly phrased. 40 and 14
I'm a recipe for disaster and although I'm calm - one thing could set me off and make me boil. Apparently..... |
25/49 Uh Oh I think I'm a bit http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif
|
I'm nearly as much of a saddo Ian, 12 & 8 - sounds as though I wouldn't want to meet some of you on the road at times! Seriously though, I think some of the questions say more about the terrifyingly abysmal standards of driving in the great US of A (sorry guys!) - things like, how many times have you pulled a firearm on other drivers.......

8 and 14 and I was being hard on myself.
Perhaps I am driving the wrong car, or perhaps I just diont get upset? |
8/11. Guess I should get angry more often. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
|
I got 16/25, It told me I had violent impulses, so watch it ;-)

22 / 20

Oh dear, 31 and 15.
Working in the centre of Glasgow you do see some complete a*seholes on the road. I've gotten out the car once when a taxi drive cut me up. Felt like a complete prat afterwards, but did get my point across though. Maybe that last comment explains why my first score was so high http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif |
21 & 8. I am getting on though.
|
Hmmm, 24 and 17.
>>Listen to soothing music or relaxation tapes while you drive. Ah, it's those Metallica tapes that are doing it to me http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif |
I scored 33 and 11.
I think the first score is mainly dictated by the fact I have been seriously injured on the road, I was hit by a car whilst cycling and the police not only didn't breathalise the woman but they didn't even interview me after the incident(in July99). The second score is lower as I haven't been able to drive since the incident due to my injuries. When I return to driving I don't what the score may be. Perhaps I should speak to someone first as the test suggests. Has anyone here been seriously injured by someone else? |
6 and 19 + about the same comments as David
I must be getting old! No questions about 'do you dissapear into the distance once you have got past' or 'Do you jump through gaps other people don't think possible' 'Do you slow down to 30 to annoy the git who has been doing 40 in a 60' [This message has been edited by CharlieWhiskey (edited 15-03-2000).] |
12 & 4. But I also disagree with the analysis. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif
Perhaps I should just get me coat? |
29/17 - I'll have to smash the house up before going out on the road!
