Hi guys, I just spoke to my parts supplier, as some of you will know I've just fitted a set of TEIN coilover suspension to my car..... while chatting to him about this he mentioned that he was getting in a load of Bilstein gear.

He can offer you two different types of coilover suspension for the scoobies.

-----------------------------------------------

GC8 and GDB Bilstein coilover kit, preset damp, height adjustable, usual price should be £815 +vat (£957inc)

>>>> GroupBuy price = £690 INCLUDING VAT! <<<<

-----------------------------------------------

GC8 Bilstein coilover kit, fully adjustable, height/damp, usual price £1186 +vat (£1393inc)

>>>> Groupbuy price = £1050 INCLUDING VAT! <<<<

-----------------------------------------------

GDB Bilstein coilover kit, fully adjustable, height/damp, usual price £1295 +vat (£1521inc)

>>>> Groupbuy price = £1150 INCLUDING VAT! <<<<

-----------------------------------------------

I almost fell over at those prices... what do you guys rekon? Need 5 or more peeps to get those prices.

Get rid of them ugly gaps above your wheels :D

POC,

just want to pick your brain about your car above. what size wheels and tyres do you run. I have recently lowered mine, it does not look as low as yours and under hard use it catches the plastic lip on the front and the 1/4 panel lip on the rear. do you run 205 tyres or have you rolled or ground the arches?

Hi T, they are 18in wheels with 215/35 falken tyres. Its charastic of falken tyres to sit back from the rim, im sure this is why im getting no rubbing. Its dropped about 80mm. Mail me offline if you have any questions :)

Back to the thread :)

[edited to say they could well be 205s..... will check this evening. Im also planning to get the arches rolled]

ChristianR 15 April 2003 05:37 PM

sounds good. How long will we have to wait for them?

ChristianR remembers the cusco group buy..... now that was a long long wait

POC 15 April 2003 07:52 PM

Yeah some had to wait longer than others on that.

These are all in stock, those that are not will be 2/3weeks.

Cheers

P
