found the rattling noise at last this morning (hard to pin-point when you're drving and looking by yourself)! it's coming from the front passenger cabin light button. it's slightly loose as the spring isn't pushing against it like the driver's side and with the rock hard, back breaking suspension, it's rattling over any slightly bumpy surface :( ...will get it fixed in the first service tomorrow B)

anyone else experienced a workman ship problem like this?

Yes,

I have a dreadful rattle/vibration behind the dash to the right of the dial clusters/possibly behind the right air vent.

Not impressed and not helped by firm suspension!

yep.. both driver and passenger door cards were not pushed home...the clips were no pushed in far enough. Had a rattle for a week or two until I figured out what it was.

Ricihe.

blinkin' flip...yours sounds a lot more serious. until you get it seen to, you'll have to turn up the sound system.

hope it gets fixed soon as i know your drives are being spoilt.

Steve,

I have the exact same rattle as you, and thinking back i think i may have had it on my origonal GX (fixed at first service) im wondering if the same monkey is fitting the alarm and cocking somthing up in there.
