My little mambie pambie washing up hand is getting a blister from the standard STI gear knob. It has a bobble on the back which digs in to my palm. Is this just an excuse to buy a pro-drive knob I hear you ask. Probably but its on the way all the same .....haha
|
Is it the STI WRC or the piston style knob?
|
Yeap, same here so I bought a Prodive WR Sport one ;) |
i did the same as boyakahsa. I ordered a blue one immediately after the test drive.
|
I have the same gripe about it and intend to change!
|
What are you doing with the old one ?
Only asking as I'm after the middle / sleeve out of a standard one so I can fit a Momo knob one I have in the garage. |
Glad im not the only big girl on here,,,haha.
I have orederd the round one with the prodrive badge on the top in the ally colour. Decided against the blue in the end. Here's the silly bit, ordered it but no idea how much it cost. Any ideas? As for the old one I guess I will keep it for when I sell the car. Gary |
Hahahahaha, yes I think you are all a bunch of girls.
One of my mates took a plaster cast of his er.... member, and used the resulting cast as a gear knob. |
£50 I think according to the Subaru website.
Thats what Ive got on my MY03 WRX and its pretty cool (though obviously I have the 5-speed version :) ). I really like it. Livens up the more sparten WRX interior IMO. :) |
Andy,
Is that the short shift version :) Simon |
hahahahaahahah nice one, shot shift - I like it.
|
I changed mine for the STi titanium knob. Very pleased with it, especially as I got it second hand via Scoobynet and didn't have to pay full dealer price...approx £120 . Downside, is that it does get very cold in the winter, but hey, I can manage :D.
