AGG
I have had a scoob of sorts for 5 years plus . This has not happened before, but in-laws now say i need a base ball cap. Is that the image we have now....
Getting a new motor soon, may keep scoob but hate the max power image

depends on the scooby.. if its all done up like the dogs dinner, ie like it should be on the front cover of said magazine then yea.

like any car, it can represent the driver.

if its a basic scoob with a suit jacket hanging in the back then your a rep

if its got tinted windows a loud pipe and transfers on it, then chances are your a boy racer.

some people dont like there car to look the same as other peoples, so they ajust it slightly to be more individual. changing the alloys and lights for instance :)

thats what i think anyway, dont blame the scooby..

you can drive a escort or a corsa and still be classed as a max power dude, if it looks a certain way

MY01 wrx ppp. decat. blue . big brakes (tsl 6pots) uk300 lights . sills painted and spoiler up lifters . don't think it is that over the top. most performace up grades. In laws say all scoobs owned by base ball bunch. Boy races.

Who cares about the image.
The Scoob is still a very capable well respected performance car.
As with all things, they de-value and become available to the masses.
Live long and Scoob :)

they'd possibly prefer an Audi A4 TDi driving type son-in-law ? or are they more Vauxhall Omega types ;)

I think my girlfriend's dad is a bit jealous that I have a better car than he does, sad really! It's not a Scoob btw, but I did think it would be cool to borrow a friend's Scoob (complete with Blitz Nurspec) to take for Sunday lunch one time :D

Hmmmm,

I think if I "max" mine anymore Ill be crossing the line.

There are more and more on the roads that are just Max Power material, lets face it you can pick one up for 4k now(enabling anyone to buy one and spent as much again on bits).

Im sad to say my car attracts the attention of young lads, not young laydeez :( ..............next years car is a gonna be a Boxster, thatll get the right sex looking :D

kevin stanton 14 April 2003 08:12 AM
