Any one know of a website that provides good "drivers" routes with nice stops on the way good pubs, views, etc..
Peak district would be a good start... anyone?

rather than lounge around at home on a sunday I want to get us out and about.. plus gives me a good excuse to drive :)
thanks folks.

Worth taking in the B5054 and B5053 which includes the lovely little village of Hartington. There's a great cheese shop there, plus a few pubs for a snack & drink or an ice cream. Can be popular when the weather is good.

B6049 coming out of Buxton on the A6 towards Bakewell and hang a left to pick it up to Tideswell. Stunning drop down through a gorge.

Bakewell is worth a call for a cake or five :D

Charlie Whiskey is the man to speak to - he's the daddy when it comes to routes through the Peaks :)

isnt quite what I had in mind, (ie: its mainly about pubs and food etc..) but its a start and dont take much to deviate and find the b/unclassified roads :D
