Probably, the European spec. STi8 will be available with DCCD at the end of the year (at least in Germany). I am wondering whether it is worth to wait until then. (I can't order the Japanese version because it is RHD).

I am aware of the long DCCD thread ... but has anybody actually compared an STi8 with DCCD vs. an STi8 without DCCD? I believe that a comparison between an STi8 with DCCD and an STi7 without DCCD is not entirely helpful because the suspension of the STi8 has been changed.

Thanks for any help,

Devlin

Devlin,I'm driving the Sti8 Japanese spec and it's great except for the the fuel consumption and a rattling noise coming from the roof area near the mirror (I'll get this fixed in the first service). I've kept the DCCD on auto cos I'm still running my baby in but I've been told it's a lot of fun when really push it round corners (drifting). Look at http://www.topgear.com and search under impreza, I remember an artcle in there about the DCCD...sorry can't be of more help at the moment!!!
