Could somebody fill me in on what models they did (if any) of the Honda Accord in estate version (inc engine size) for the previous body shape, ie. not the one that came out recently.

Two previous version, both called the Accord Aerodeck. Imported from the USA where they were built. First version was brought in about 1990-1992/3 had 2.0i or 2.2i engines. Later more swoopy version 1994-1996/7 also had 2.0i or 2.2i engines, in either LS or ES trim.

My mate at work is considering a UK 2002 model (read 1 year old ish), but isn't sure what to expect for approx 17K or less...

A saloon or hatch, because there have been no UK estate versions since 1997? If its an estate it can only be an import.

Oh nuts...

He wants the hatch back/estate version.. and looks like the new accord doesn't come in that format either...

He also won't touch grey imports.
