Saddam has just given a TV interview. He said "To prove I am still
alive, I will say Liverpool were total sh1te on Saturday".

The British Government have said "That could have been recorded months ago"...

ash1 10 April 2003 05:49 PM

Does that also apply to the Scum performance on Tuesday then ?

Funkii Munkii 10 April 2003 05:53 PM

PMSL :D:D:D:D:D

SwinYE5 11 April 2003 06:05 PM

Ash, If your shower were up against them then I think Real would have been eyeing up double figures!

After all, you lost to us 4-0 so if our performance on Tuesday makes us pretty poor then you lot must be a right pile o' sh1te!

NAF 11 April 2003 07:01 PM

SwinYE5 11 April 2003 07:30 PM

What's that for NAF? With a name like that you wouldn't be a Liverpool fan would you?!

ash1 11 April 2003 11:18 PM

If you say so. Flattering performance against us, esp when Riley took centre stage and man of the match, two penalties (and even one of those was outside the box), cheating Ruud (see how he made sure with extra dive over Dudek on first pen) and nasty ugly sister Neville telling ref to send Hyppia off. All this led to Taggart saying it was a stroll and saving their energy for Tuesday. Ha,ha. Some master tactician he is. Then major gaff about match fixing. Hope UEFA kick his sorry arse.

BTW we only just lost to Real AllStars in the Champions tournament in pre-season.

SwinYE5 12 April 2003 09:04 AM

Cheating 'Ruud'? I think the latter name you was looking for there was 'Hyppia'. Him and Henchoz have been getting away with sly fouls and handballs and general cheating for ages and it's about time one of them got their comeupance. Ruud was in front of Hyppia with only DUDek to beat so why would he go down rather than shoot? It was probably easier to score from where he was, had Hyppia not tried one of his sly fouls, which he didn't get away with this time. Last man = get off, simple, whether it's the 4th minute of the match or the 4th minute of injury time.

As for Fergie's allegations - I quite agree with him. It makes sense that UEFA don't want the final hosts in the final as there is an air of an advantage. Take a look at the possible semi's, how it's looking at the moment:
Real Madrid v Barcelona
Inter Milan v AC Milan
Hmmm.....
Draw fixes probably happen a lot more than you think.

ash1 12 April 2003 10:42 AM

Get away. Look at Hyppia's record of offences. Last year don't think he good booked - thats for any type of offence. Henchoz has been lucky, most specifially in that cup final.

Anyway, back to my point of cheating. Here are some kind reminders of how Dirty Ruud looks like a soldier being shot in Iraq.

1. Ipswich last year away when he fell over himself.
2. Fell over Dudek after already getting the penalty (have a close look again if you get chance, pathetic), don't disagree with the challenge that got him the pen, just that he three in a hop, skip and jump for measure.
3. Real game when he faked a smack in the mouth - should hsve been off for that.

Thats 3 off the top of my head.

As for fixing, nice to see you are drawing parrallels with Fergie in your thinking. He's lost the plot and I think you have too.

SwinYE5 12 April 2003 11:05 AM

Well I don't agree with Ruud, I don't agree with Hyppia, and IMO you're a bit naive if you think draw fixing doesn't go on. But hey, since when did a United fan and a 'pool fan ever agree on anything!

I bet you never thought match fixing went on either, until your old 'keepers clown-like behaviour all became clear overnight!

ash1 12 April 2003 11:11 AM

No, I thought he was just having a run of bad form. Does that mean that your circus clown Barthez was also match fixing when he played against the gooners and made those 2 mistakes ?

And why would Ruud go down when he is through on goal ? Cos he knows he has more chance of scoring from penalties than open play of course.

STi wanna Subaru 12 April 2003 11:43 AM

Here you go ash, put one of these on your shoulder..............it may help to balance you up a bit. :D ;)

Don't know what those are mate, you may eat them, but I don't - looks like something that can make you overweight though, judging by the frying pan.

SwinYE5 13 April 2003 09:51 AM

In that particular instance, I think Ruud had just as much chance of scoring before Hyppia fouled him than a pen. He only had the goalie to beat.

Barthez, a clown? I finally agree with you on something...

Crapaud62 18 April 2003 04:38 PM

The eight Saddam body doubles are gathered in one of the bunkers in downtown Baghdad. Tariq Aziz, the deputy prime minister, comes in and says, 'I have some good news and some bad news.' They ask for the good news first.
"Aziz says, 'The good news is that Saddam is still alive, so you all still have jobs.'
"'And the bad news?' they ask.
"Aziz replies, 'He's lost a leg.'"
