i couldn't tell you off the top of my head as i only fit the parts but the flywheel looks normal from the front but when you turn it over theres a plate bolted to the back which covers everything inside so i don't even know how they work totally but i know the face which bolts to the end of the crank can somehow move independently to the face the clutch bolts to. it's made like this to take out snatch coz the new friction plate has no springs it any more like old plates used to have but we have never had to have one back to replace it . they seem to have finally got it right. and they are now offering this as the fix for anyone who has a legacy that chirps from the old dual mass flywheel type

I've had this fitted to my MY00 about 2 weeks ago. It cured the judder but has left me with a problem when changing up at high revs. It feels like someone has just run into the back of me and makes the whole car shake.
Typically when I took the mechanic out in it it didn't do it!

Still trying to find the cause.

Mine used to do that, I found adjusting the biting piont of the pedal cured it.
