I currently have leaking cam covers and when the car gets hot i am getting some nice smoke out of the bonnet. As i live in the isle of man there is no subaru dealer here and most garages will not even look at it. So it anyone could give me diagrams, advise as to haw to solve this problem i would much appreciate it as i can easily buy the parts and have them sent to the island.

The problem as you describe is a common fault at regular intervals on EJ20 engines. The leak is usually from the half moon rubbers on the cam covers and not the cam cover gasket itself. Give Simon a ring at Roger Clark Motor Sport 01455 828610, tell him the problem, tell him I sent you, and he will sort you out.

Cheers for you help guys. I only had it fully done about 9 months ago, but from reading around, seems they did not use sealant and i have blown them off again. Have ordered a full rocker cover gasket set just to be safe.
