Has anyone got any advice/recommendations for LCD/TFT monitors? Do they look good when playing Games or do they pixelate?

Cheers

Surely someone uses an LCD monitor?

Go for either the Hitachi CML174sxw or the NEC 1760NX, both play games really well and are 17". Cost you about 310+vat for the hitachi with all cables or 345 for the NEC + 20 for a DVI cable.

Samsung seem to be the most popular amongst my friends, you will never get the same refresh rates or brightness from an LCD though, but they do a commendable job all the same :)

I've got a NEC 1560VM 15" TFT screen and have no problems with playing games on it. It's refresh rate is <25ms - quality is best at its native resolution of 1024x768.
