If new ones are appearing, my advice would be to see a doctor. They are a melanoma, and can be either benign (nothing to worry about) or malignant - which isn't nice.

I have loads of moles (can u say "Scaramanga"? ;) ) and the doctor always advises going to see him if any moles appear, or if existing moles change colour, or go frilly around the edges.

Get 'em checked out, and put your mind at rest. I've only had one removed, and it isn't a painful procedure if it's necessary. But 999/1000 it won't be necessary :D

Don't worry about it, but do get them checked when you can.

Cheers,
Nick.
PS - I'm not a doctor, just a "sufferer" :D
PPS - Hi Dave T-S ;) :D :)

I knew it was only a matter of time Dave ;)

Make an appointment. say it's not urgent and they'll be able to fit you in sometime in the next month, if they're anything like my doctors :D . You need to plan when you're ill...

When I went to see the asthma specialist, one of the first things he mentioned were my moles as I am living in Australia now.
He basically checked them, made notes about where the majority of them were. He then told me if I notice anything at all whatsoever different about any of them, no matter how tiny, to get myself an appointment with him to get them investigated.

Skin cancer is very real over here and you need to be on the lookout for any changes especially if you spend a lot of time in the sun. (Which I am doing at the moment).

So, if you are worried about a mole, get it checked out, better to be safe than sorry!

Have a word with Tiggs. He'll sort you out. ;)

If you wait until you're sick it might be too late!

Worth getting it checked as everyone says.

Les :)
