There's a shell station about 30 seconds drive from the M4 at Junction 11.

Turn right at the J11 roundabout towards Reading and go along some Dual carriageway for about 2/3 of a mile(past the worldcom building). Turn Right at the next roundabout and you'll go past the HP building on your left.

At the next roundabout turn right and the shell station will be on your left.

When you're full turn left out of the shell station and go straight on and the M4 will be sign posted as you rejoin the Dual Carriageway.

There's probably a quicker route but that's the easiest.

Hi all, I am travelling from South wales to Gatwick airport and back in one journey and would like to know where I can get optimax for my YM2000 STi 5. I have been on the shell optimax site but it did not give any info and kept crashing out. Please could you let me know which services along the route I could use.
Thanks
Tony

Cheers Neil. Will mark on my optimax map - this 100 ron stuff is a pain in the a*se 8-).

Shell station location guide

Shell optimax Locator

click the Union Jack, it gives you a choice of town or route to locate the garage on the way :D

Phone shell uk and they will send you a free book map of the UK with every station marked on it. It fits nicely in the drivers door pocket :D

Get your flame suit on mate! Apparently asking this question means that your dumb and can't deal with the trials of life on your own

They sell optimax at the Ottershaw 24 hour garage which is about 2 minutes drive from Junc. 11 of the M25. The garage is situated on the Guildford Rd just passed the Ottershaw roundabout!!

I has been fairly confident that a place as large as Oban would have SUL/Optimax.... The fact it didn't came as a big suprise!

Saxo boy, Dont mind having to get flame proof gear out as getting ribbed on here is far more preferable to being stranded on hard shoulder with empty tank ang g/f in airport wondering where the hell I am. Besides a good ribbing is good for the perspective 8-).
Should I have bought a uk spec I ask myself?
Thanks all,
Tony
