ok, this is not the forsale topic, but just want to let as much people know as possible about Argos is selling the DISKLOK (full cover steering wheel lock device) for £69.99.

you never know what a steering lock device can do to prevent your car from "walking" !

If you're passing Aberdeen (!), visit Halfords. Bought one last week for £59. Only one left now though.

Franx 04 April 2003 01:17 PM

Sorry....not that handy for Zummerset is it? Only just noticed that!

APJ 04 April 2003 05:21 PM

Thanks Franx - I'll have a rummage in the local Halfords!

bought mine for £30 brand new

Good device, but too bulky for me so I got a snap-off.

Much better IMO

APJ 08 April 2003 11:40 AM

Stu - where did you get it for £30????

I've thought that the diskloks do look bulky, so which other one did you get? Also been looking at the Extreme which covers 2/3rds of the wheel - has Thatcham approval but can it withstand 18mins of attack like the disklok?

BAH 11 April 2003 02:13 PM

I got mine from the local Fuzz, £45...
