Guys,
Debugging an application which is falling over coming from one client's network. The URL is 999 bytes in length, so my gut feeling is that they have a firewall which is blocking long requests. They're running Checkpoint NG. Does anyone know if there's a default rule in there to do this, and what the trigger length typically is? Cheers. |
Have you tried asking Mark? ;)
|
Umm, Mark who?
|
No default rule for url length AFAIK.
( did checkpoint mgmt 1&2 a fortnight ago ) Steve |
Really? Damn. What the blazes is going on then I wonder!
|
can you ask them to turn on logging for implicit and explicit rules from your source address and see if / where the firewall is dropping it ?

Cheers, will ask them. Can you do logging on a destination address too?
|
yep , should be no problem.
