Picked up a curry with a couple of mates in the car last night. Two week old 03 WRX.
One decides to put the bag on the back seat. Yep, you guessed: ghee (rarified butter) all over the place :( :( :( Any clues on how to get rid of it? I've tried 1001 carpet/upholstery cleaner and there's still a greasy mark. *help* Ta, Nick. |
Brown paper and an iron as a last resort.
Put the paper on the stain and heat with the iron. The butter should melt and soak into the paper, but be carefull as you can easily over do it and burn the fabric. |
Cheers mate. I've just tried the Simoniz "teflon" 2 coat stuff from Halfords, as this claims to lift grease.
Seems to be working :D . Friend might just live ;) |
Will that stuff lift chocolate? ;) Oh and how about curing fag burns!!!! God damn my mates can be twats at times!!!!

£10 for the curry.
£20 for the cleaning stuff  Hope you charge em. :D |
Sounds like a mastercard ad, doesn't it...
"Curry - 20 quid" "Cleaning stuff - tenner" "The look on your face when the stain finally goes: priceless" I just hope it's completely gone. |
