Just read this news story which shows just how vulnerable our cars are, no matter where they're parked:

Saturday March 11th:

Armed gang steal four Lancers

Leading UK Mitsubishi specialists Ralliart / Co-ordSport were the subject of an armed gang in the early hours of Friday morning. The gang wearing SAS type balaclavas and armed with baseball bats and other weapons, threatened two security guards before making off with four Mitsubishi Lancers from the companies secure compound.

The company are offering a £10,000 reward for any information leading to the recovery of the vehicles. If you have any information no matter how small please contact Ralliart / Co-ordSport on 01384 216100 or out of hours on 07715 006885.

My god, that is amazing. I knew that our cars are objects of desire for many theives out there, but this kind of organised mass theft really makes you think. If someone wants your car bad enough, they will take it, whatever it takes, physical force and armed robbers prove so.

I heard about this on Sunday night, I was told they used one of the cars to ram their way out of the compound as well !! Will they stop at nothing ..... Having said that a few months back a mate had his Cosworth Escort stolen after they cut all the brake pipes because he had a brake cylinder lock fitted, they got past his cat1 alarm and were off ..... 500yrds down the road the divots went for the brakes ... non there .... hello mr dining room wall .... they never did catch the theiving ******** but it wrote his car off.

It's the old saying, if they want it they will take it !!

Isn't this he robbery carried out that included the thieves that nicked the car from Donno whilst on bail?
I heard they were caught again nicking some EVO's and they put some old boy in hospital.
