MarkWRX 15 July 2001 12:25 AM

Cars look absolutely AWESOME. I dont see how anyone can say different. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Didnt think I liked the Red, but after seeing these I think I prefer C T-S's.
The ride height makes such a visual difference, Im going to have to look at getting it done.
I think I may even consider 'pimp tints' know as well..

Jacko 15 July 2001 10:13 AM

D T-S/C T-S, superb! 2 very good examples of what a lot of money and a bit of slap can make even the ugliest of babes look good...
If I had the doe, I would have one and do what you two have done. 2 of the best examples on the road and probable gravel http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Burns, eat your heart out...

Jacko.

Andy W 15 July 2001 01:14 PM

Guys,
You may well have changed my mind about the MY01, they look very good indeed.

Andy

AJbaseBloke 15 July 2001 01:33 PM

Beautiful!!

Now all I have to do is get the wife out of the Skyline and into a Subie...

BOB.T 15 July 2001 04:39 PM

Excelent work guys, they look awesome!

What's with the pink house though? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Bob

Dave T-S 15 July 2001 06:25 PM

Bob
Even our house is tuned by Subaru Tecnica International mate.... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Dyney 15 July 2001 07:16 PM

So does the house have PIAA spots in the ceiling, pimp tints on the windows and a Pink number on the door.

Do you find it hard to find when it turns into a 'icle red X http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

BTW, Very nice. I don't have a preference if your giving them away,(otherwise I like the RED http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)

Iain.

Dave T-S 15 July 2001 07:37 PM

LOL http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

It has two 500w security lights - better than PIAA's http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Jza 16 July 2001 09:48 AM

Its nice to see the pictures at last Dave. Very nice too. Your shaming me into going to see Mr Croney now arent you!!!!

You mentioned having a link ECU on order - is there now one available and do i take it you arent going to wait for the PPP as you originally suggested. Whats the ECU do and is it a match for the PPP?????? You wont need to loose the SS exhaust then???

Cheers!!

Sad WRX with no wicked mods driver Jza

ultim8DTM5 16 July 2001 11:06 AM

Fat Boy 16 July 2001 01:00 PM

Dave

This is going to hurt, but now I can see the photos, I'll admit that your cars are sort of alright. OK? Happy now?

J

Rob W 16 July 2001 06:54 PM

Dave and Carolyn your cars look da dogs http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/cool.gif

Can't wait to see them in the flesh.

Rob

Chris L 16 July 2001 07:32 PM

Rob

They look even better in the flesh and the ride (even on Leda) is surprisingly good - very similar to MY00 (except Dave's goes round corners better than mine http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif )

Kosy 17 July 2001 02:13 AM

Dave,

Those cars are absolute works of art!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Are u gonna get the PPP fitted when its available? If so what do u think your bhp will be after that??

Cheers Kos

Dave T-S 17 July 2001 08:32 AM

Kosy
May go for a Link, but want to keep my warranty.

From memory, PPP will give 242bhp and 261ft/lb torque or thereabouts on 97 RON.

Bob Rawle expects the Link will map better.

My daily commute is 14 miles cross country on largely deserted roads, I don't do rolling road sessions, aren't interested in max BHP, but will map for max torque, as low down as possible, and driveability - I want overtaking capability i.e. mid range acceleration above anything else.

mspeed 17 July 2001 01:10 PM

Both look great...

A question on the windows, how dark a tint did you go for ? I'm thinking of doing the same to my P1, just can't decide whether to go for it or not!

Cheers
Mark

Dave T-S 17 July 2001 02:08 PM

Mark
I think the fronts were 23% and the rears the next one up. The fronts are the darkest legal one.

Gareth Williams 17 July 2001 02:09 PM

Both cars look great. Well done!. Were all the mods supplied and fitted by Scoobysport?.
They both look a lot better than the UK300 IMHO...
Perhaps I'll cancel that M3 after all...

Gareth.

Dave T-S 17 July 2001 09:11 PM

Gareth

Sports grille (Subaru part).
Pink badges.
PIAA drive lamps.
Front lip spoiler (Subaru part).
Clear side indicators/wing reflectors (on back order).
