I have just opened an ntl e - mail account as the one I used through Microsoft Outlook was suspended as I didn't use it in over three months.

What I'd like to know is how to run my ntl account through Outlook as I find this much simpler.

I assume you mean the one you used through Hotmail was suspended, as Outlook is an email client and does not actually provide the email service.

Are we talking Outlook or Outlook Express here, as they are different products? Saying that, setting them up to send/receive your mails are much the same.

Click Tools followed by Accounts
Click Add > Mail
Type the name as you want it to appear at the top of your emails, click Next
Type the email address you just registered with NTL including the @ntlworld.com bit. Click Next
For incoming mail, enter pop.ntlworld.com
For outgoing mail, enter smtp.ntlworld.com. Click next
Enter your NTL mail username and password (should have been supplied/chosen during registration) Click Next
Click Finish

Job done :)
