IMO that tool which they had confiscated and wanted to issue a receipt for had a botched serrated blade, those leatherman type tools dont have a serrated blade normally IIRC. Had he just let them confiscate it, take the receipt, then all would ahve been fine.

I have a leatherman with a serrated knife blade.
