Mods PLEASE leave here for a while where it is more likely to be seen !!

When cleaning my alloys, I found that several wheel nuts had been cross threaded and so were unable to be tightened to correct torque !!!!! (So much for "mechanics" in tyre shops :( )

Has anyone got any that will fit (domed nuts with flat seating face)PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE !!!

Were they cross threaded recently by a tyre fitter?

If so take the damn car back and get them to sort it.

It was a couple of months ago ! They would just say prove it was us :( .
I saw they had problems as they tried to fit the nuts with fingers into the recessed holes - you need to use a socket/extension to be sure its threaded right - but that takes effort and thought !
Unfortunately I thought he'd got it right with fingers - silly me.
