Is that a 2.5 Litre STI Turbo then!? |
Has there been any reviews of it yet?

Why is the site talking about the 2004 scoob? They've only just released the 03' version..
It didn't seem to have any bhp/torque stats on the site for the 2.5.. Any idea of the outputs/0-62/weight? |
Any UK importers planning on bringing a 2.5 STI8 over to the UK??
Ben |
Look like Oz's to me. Is it me or does the intercooler look smaller ?
 |
I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one.

Matching torque and BHP figures - a sure sign of effortless performance. Gotta get one.....

Weight, 0-60MPH and pricing is not official yet. Here is what we've gather so fare... Price: $30,995 plus freight (est. $525 Curb weight: 1484kg (little piggy) Motor: 2.5-liter intercooled and turbocharged 4-cylinder boxer engine with Active Valve Control System (AVCS) 300-horsepower @ 6,000 rpm, 300 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4,000 rpm Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) 6-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter 0-60MPH times soon to follow. HTH! [Edited by dazz1 - 3/25/2003 5:20:08 AM] |
That intercooler is way smaller than the Type UK one  |
Yeah, it doesn't surprise me that the intercooler is smaller.. as they're achieving the extra power through larger displacement, not higher boost. You'll actually find that they run less boost than the UK spec models.
Gerrod |
Cor blimey... 300 bhp at low boost... what would be the capabilities of a thing like that after a bit of tuning? Surely *much* easier power gains than a stock 2.0...
|
Umm how much to put the steering wheel on the right side of the car - or fit the engine into a UK model (later probably cheaper).
