Ordered myself an Autometer Air Fuel Ratio gauge today from Scoobymania and a new 2 gauge a pillar pod from J-Tec (existing boost gauge also going into it).

Expecting delivery tomorrow so just thought I'd get a head start and ask for some tips on fitting instructions for the AFR gauge...i.e. under bonnet connections etc.

The pod arrived today m8 as u promised....I must say it is VERY nice quality and I can't wait to get it in the car....just a shame the AFR gauge didn't turn up from Scoobymania today (as promised ;) )

Ok....just read the autometer fitting instructions :eek:

My car is a 95 wrx so can anyone answer the following:-

1/ Does it have a heated or non-heated lambda sensor?
2/ If it is heated, is it 3 or 4 wire and which wire do I connect the AFR to?
3/ If it is non-heated, is it 1 or 2 wire and which wire do I connect the AFR to?

It is a 3 wire heated sensor
IIRC you have three wires, red black and white.. the white one is the signal wire..
However i have and would recommend connecting the AFR wire to the ECU end of the wire

Does anyone know wher to attach the purple wire on an MY'99 UK car?
I have two white wires and one black wire from my sensor (if that is the one fitted by the downpipe)

I posted a reply on your other thread in general :)

basically B136 Blue Connector on the ECU, pin 21 white with silver spots

I tapped into this for my AFR Gauge
