is the live demo disc of mechassault you get with the live kit off the shelf no playable online?
My mate wanted a game last night, so I loaded my full mechassault up, set up a session, and he loaded the demo disc, connected to live, tried to connect to my game and it came up a message like "now insert game disc".
Is ghost recon any good online?

Ghost Reacon is meant to be good if you can join a session although a mate of mine said that everytime he tried to join it said that it wasn't available anymore so he got fed up with it.

I've played Ghost Recon on Live. I've not quite got the hang of it though cause I keep getting shot without seeing ppl. Not had a problem with joining games though.
