I've been thinking about chipping my and I noticed you use superchip for yours. Do you recommend it? Do you get BIG http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif power gains? What other chips are there on the market? Hope you can help! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Gordon

I have had no problems running the superchip so far.I took the precaution of having the car checked on Star's rolling road to ensure it wasnt leaning out or detting. The C.O readings showed it was still within the safe limits @ 18psi.Fitting an oil cooler & using Castrol RS oil is wise to cope with the increased temps when running higher boost.
I plan to fit a Knocklink shortly just for extra piece of mind.I would guess the superchip gives it an extra 30-40bhp depending on whats already been done to the car.
Cost was the reason I went for the Superchip,if I had the money I would opt for the Link/Motec ECU.

I will be at the Knockhill meet 17th March if you want a blast round the circuit to see what you think.Or speak to Kevin at Falkland for more info.

Hope this helps

Dave
