Does is matter where the built in brakelight is located in a spoiler?

Top mounted brakelight:

Bottom mounted brakelight:

Pros and cons......... ????????

Can't see why it would matter at all:)

So different position is only due to styling reason?

Most if not all STi spoilers have bottom mounted brakelight.........

So there is no effect on downforce (not that it matter on a road car).......or some vibrations caused by the brakelight?

doubt it, just a matter of preference. I prefer the high mounted one, compare the RB5 WR spoiler to the STI5, almost exactly the same except the brake light, IMO the RB5 one (high light) looks better.

Where is the best/cheapest place to get one!

Agree with you Paul, the top mounted one looks better. But it seems to be much rarer........wonder why.....
