I've got a 17" LCD monitor and I want a webcam to go on top -- at least 640x480 resolution. Looking at the Logitech ones they seem to have big 'feet' which require the deep top of a CRT monitor. Notebook webcams are usually too small (the bezel's over an inch deep on my monitor) and the wrong colour (laptops are black, my monitor's beige). The Creative WebCam 5 looks like it might be OK, but only because the box has got a picture of a bloke with one on top of an LCD monitor.

So, LCD monitor users, which webcams are you using?

I've got a Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000. It sits on top of my zip disk rack which is next to the TFT monitor.

Prefer to have it on top of the monitor, TBH. BTW, your monitor's bezel is very thick compared to mine...

*shrug* Bezel thickness was not an issue. Finding a decent black-cased monitor was.

Me neither, except I wanted a beige/grey one. To come clean, I just wanted to post a picture of my monitor showing the same post that the picture's in :D

I'm not organized enough to have a stack of CDs next to the monitor (currently got the router and printer shoved in there, pending purchase of a new desk)

PS: what's the Rubiks cube in the bottom right corner of your screen?
